  • Reminder: Digital Library Decommissioned on 5/28

    The Smarter Balanced Digital Library will decommission on Thursday, May 28 at 4 p.m. Pacific in preparation for the release of Tools for Teachers, the new website for instructional supports and professional learning resources.  

    The preview launch of Tools for Teachers will be June 16, 2020. Please refer to the SBAC Member Portal for more information.

  • Returning Paper Materials

    All paper test materials must be returned to Measurement Incorporated (MI) as soon as possible. Assessment Coordinators should pack all test booklets and all answer booklets in the same boxes in which materials were shipped. Affix the FedEx ground return label from return kit (clear plastic bag located inside the white district box) directly on top of the original address label and arrange for FedEx pickup.

  • Science Interim Assessments Now Available in AVA

    Science Interim Assessments are not available in Assessment Viewing Application (AVA). AVA is a component of the Online Testing System that allows District-Level and School-Level users to view the interim assessments for administrative or instructional purposes. For more information refer to the AVA User Guide and AVA Training Module on the Gateway.

  • ExploreLearning Remote Learning Resources

    Cambium Assessment is partnering with ExploreLearning to help support schools seeking remote teaching and learning resources during this time of school closures. Their online resources can help students and teachers stay engaged in learning, anytime and anywhere.
